About job
We are looking for a highly experienced Value Stream Manager to oversee our production line for large single ball bearings. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of full-time experience in a plant management position within the automotive manufacturing industry. This role requires extensive experience in process management, automotive quality assurance, and cost planning and control.
You will be responsible for managing and developing staff, preparing production lines, and overseeing current production operations. Strong knowledge of problem-solving methodologies such as 5Why, PDCA, and Kaizen is essential. Additionally, you should have proven experience handling customer audits and resolving quality issues.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the value stream for the production of large single ball bearings, ensuring efficient and effective production processes.
- Develop and implement cost planning and control measures to optimize production efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure adherence to automotive quality assurance standards and address any quality issues that arise.
- Lead and develop staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Prepare and manage production lines, ensuring they meet production goals and quality standards.
- Utilize problem-solving methodologies such as 5Why, PDCA, and Kaizen to address and resolve production issues.
- Coordinate and conduct customer audits, ensuring compliance with quality standards and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Maintain a safe and orderly work environment, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements
- At least 15 years of professional experience in manufacturing, with a minimum of 5 years in a plant management position within the automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes and quality assurance standards.
- Proven ability to manage production lines and optimize production processes.
- Excellent leadership and staff development skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and experience with methodologies such as 5Why, PDCA, and Kaizen.
- Experience in handling customer audits and resolving quality issues.
