The company is a product one and providers of business management software to small and mid-sized organisations in the UK, Ireland and Asia Pacific. It helps more than 75.000 customers across commercial and non-profit sectors become more productive and efficient. Founded in 1991, the client employs approximately 6.300 people. The company is located in Timișoara, but he is looking also for tech specialist remote.

Responsabilities

In your daily tasks, you will:

  • Create and develop software solutions that align with agreed-upon acceptance criteria, utilizing a variety of languages and technologies. Guarantee that engineering standards are established, recognized, and adhered to within the Agile team.
  • Actively engage in requirements analysis, bringing attention to any omissions or gaps. Take part in discussions, comprehending the scope, risk, and complexity of changes. Challenge and provide feedback to stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Employ debugging techniques and tools to identify, analyze, and rectify the root causes of defects.
  • Recognize, compartmentalize, and execute refactoring as required for commercial or technical reasons, focusing on maintainability.
  • Manage or implement Continuous Integration (CI) Pipelines, build tooling, and environments. Oversee the execution of Production releases.
  • Take charge of effective source control, ensuring the ability to manage multiple branches in isolation.
  • Take ownership, manage, and assume accountability for specific projects and deliverables. Independently manage risks and dependencies.
  • Offer technical leadership, guidance, and direction to other members of the engineering team.
  • Advocate for a quality-centric approach. This includes effective planning, devising branch strategies, promoting and participating in early defect discovery, conducting code reviews, engaging in unit testing, and collaborating with QA engineers.
  • Guarantee the delivery of value through engineering by thoroughly comprehending customer requirements, identifying risks and dependencies, and effectively communicating and escalating as needed.

Requirements

  • .NET Core, C#, Web API, SQL, and React (desirable but not essential) with React
  • Strong proponent of Test-Driven Development
  • Capability to apply SOLID and Object-Oriented Programming principles effectively
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms, preferably Azure
  • Profound experience in developing and deploying event-driven and microservice solutions
  • Possessing a pragmatic, competitive, and continuous learning mindset
  • Embracing an open and collaborative approach
  • Demonstrating a quick learning aptitude, adept at grasping new technical concepts
  • Committed to consistently delivering and upholding high standards
