About job

We are in search of an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic and fast-paced work environment. This role involves reporting to the European Managing Director and the Software Director from our parent company in Hong Kong. As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for Cloud and Backend development for connected products.

Responsabilities

• Take charge of IoT cloud development and its ongoing maintenance.
• Develop IoT cloud services that support all internet-connected products within the company.
• Define the software architecture and application interfaces for the cloud.
• Collaborate with both internal and external teams to optimize solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and offer technical guidance to cross-functional teams.
• Be a self-motivated team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work effectively with a team of engineers.

Requirements

• Possess a degree or higher qualification in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Bring 3+ years of programming experience with Python or JavaScript.
• Demonstrate proficiency in AWS services, including IoT Core, Lambda, EC2, and S3.
• Knowledge of network protocols such as HTTP, TCP/IP, MQTT, and WebSocket is advantageous.
• Have experience with software management tools like Jira, Confluence, and GitHub.
• Maintain a strong command of spoken and written English.
