About job
We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager with at least 5 years of full-time experience in a similar role, focusing on purchasing and customer certification. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the purchasing process, CSR, and customer certification requirements.
You will be responsible for maintaining relationships with providers and ensuring that orders are fulfilled according to production needs. Proficiency in managing monthly delivery schedules and ensuring compliance with these schedules is essential. The role requires a commitment to fulfilling work tasks within established timelines and adherence to rules regarding quality, order, and cleanliness at the workplace.
Additional responsibilities include participating in professional and quality training sessions, performing activities for which you have competence or authorization, and adhering to the company’s work schedule and employee’s code of conduct. Respect for the confidentiality of information and compliance with the quality management system in accordance with IATF 16949 standards are also critical.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the entire purchasing process to meet production needs efficiently.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials.
- Create and manage monthly delivery schedules, ensuring all orders are in compliance with production requirements.
- Ensure all purchasing activities adhere to quality standards and company policies.
- Participate in and facilitate professional development and quality training for the purchasing team.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with the company’s code of conduct and confidentiality agreements.
- Implement and maintain purchasing procedures that align with the IATF 16949 quality management system standards.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in purchasing, with at least 5 years in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of CSR, customer certification, and purchasing processes.
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage and adhere to delivery schedules and quality standards.
- Proactive in professional development and maintaining industry knowledge.
